
It's estimated that the government spends 20 billion dollars a year on the war on drugs. When indirect costs, such as keeping dealers in prison for life, are included in estimates, the number is closer to 200 billion dollars each year. This has been going on for at least the last 20 years.
The good news is that it's working. Instead of our children becoming potheads, they've become huffers.
I can't wait to see the outcome now that this successful strategy is being applied to the war on terror.
